RENTAL POLICIES & PRE-ARRIVAL INFORMATION (IMPORTANT INFORMATION PLEASE READ) RESERVING A PROPERTY Reservations can be completed either by phone or email and upon the completion of reserving one of our units, we will send you an e-mail confirmation including the lease contract. To confirm the reservation, we require the $500 security deposit along with a signed copy of the rental agreement. Security deposits are due at time of booking. Rental fees including tax (if applicable) & departure cleaning fees are due 45 days prior to arrival. For any reservations made within 45 days prior to arrival, the full payment is required. MINIMUM STAY In most properties at Rancho Las Palmas, we require a three night minimum stay. However, major holiday periods may require longer stay requirements. Most of the Mission Hills Country Club properties require stays of a month or longer. CANCELLATION In the event a reservation must be cancelled, the following restrictions apply: PETS Pets are allowed only if you have contractually made prior arrangements. Please contact us if you are interested in renting a pet friendly property. There is an additional refundable security deposit of $200 required for guests bringing their pets. Guests bringing their pets may have the fees for carpet & upholstery cleaning deducted from their security deposit. FURNISHINGS All properties are fully furnished and equipped with linens and kitchen wares. RESERVATION DEPOSITS All “Reservation Deposits” automatically become “Security Damage Deposits” upon occupancy of the rental unit. Said deposits are held in addition to the rental monies collected prior to check-in. Any additional charges or damages incurred will be deducted from the deposit and the balance refunded up to 21 days after the departure date. PROPERTY DESCRIPTIONS Every effort has been made to assure that our descriptions of each property are accurate, however we cannot be held responsible for possible errors in typing, changes made by owners in furnishings or equipments, or matters that are beyond our control. PROPERTIES WITH PRIVATE POOLS A utility cap is in place for all rentals of 28 days or longer at properties with private swimming pools. Please contact our office for details regarding the utility cap. The utility cap is not in place for rentals less than 28 days at properties with private swimming pools. LOCATION OF PREMISES If for any reason the premises become unavailable, we may substitute with a comparable property. If a suitable substitute property cannot be procured, Rancho Las Palmas and Mission Hills Leasing’s sole liability shall be to provide a full refund of all monies already received. CHECK-IN AFTER 3:00PM RLP - Check-in occurs at the front desk of the Rancho Las Palmas Resort where you will be provided with a packet of information including the keys and a map to get to the property. You will also obtain the gate keys and Splashtopia wristbands at this time as well. MH – Check-in occurs at our Leasing Office located at 34-600 Mission Hills Drive, Rancho Mirage, CA 92203. Office hours are 9:00am – 5:00pm weekdays and 9:00am – 5:00pm weekends. If you are arriving after hours please contact the leasing office and we will make the necessary arrangements to have a lock box placed at the property prior to the arrival. CHECK-OUT BY 11:00AM There will be a charge of 50% of the regular daily rate for all unauthorized late checkouts. If the keys or garage door openers NOT returned to Rancho Las Palmas or Mission Hills Leasing there will be a $150.00 charge for each. A $50.00 fee will be charged for each after hour’s lock-out assistance. PROPERTY CONDITION AT ARRIVAL Our properties are cleaned prior to guest’s arrival. If the home is not cleaned to your satisfaction when you arrive or if something is not working properly, please call the leasing office immediately to report the problem and we will try to correct the situation as soon as possible. MAID SERVICE For your convenience the departure cleaning service is automatically scheduled on your day of departure and billed when final payment is due. Daily maid service is available upon request for an additional charge. PERSONAL USE OF RENTAL UNITS Each rental unit is fully equipped for your comfort. During your stay the replenishment of soaps & paper goods is your responsibility. Should you notice any damages or discrepancies upon your arrival please notify our office at (760) 834-2150 within 24 hours. PARKING Emergency vehicles must have access at all times. Parking is only available in the garage or driveway. Vehicles cannot be stationary position for more that 72 hours or they will be towed. GOLF CARS Golf cars are unavailable for use in any of our properties at Rancho Las Palmas and Mission Hills. However, arrangements to rent one can be made through Advantage Golf Cars at 760-328-2278; http://www.advantagegolfcars.com/Home_Palm_Desert.html RENTAL ROLL-A-WAYS, CRIBS, HIGH CHAIRS Call Desert Baby Rentals at 760-861-6410 to make arrangements for delivery and pick-up of rental cribs, highchairs, etc. DEPARTURE DAY CHECK-LIST Please go through all rooms closets and drawers one last time prior to leaving REMEMBER TO RETURN ALL KEYS AND GARAGE DOOR OPENERS BY 11:00AM ON DATE OF DEPARTURE |
